I admit I feel very sorry for the Pillar Squad. Despite being boasted as one of the best fighting forces in the demon world (and as Lord En's personal army), they are really nothing more than fodder. Hecados in particular has been trashed multiple times, first by Saotome, then Hilda (with the excuse that she has replenished her demonic power), Oga (who only had Beel for 6 months), and now Takamiya. As military personnel, this supposed list of failures must weigh heavily on his pride. Even if it was just a temporary contract, he still failed his objective in protecting Furuichi. I imagine if he ever does apologise (with a former bow and all), Furuichi will feel really bad for being a liabilty.
